Presented By: Joe Petzel, LMFT
Why are so many men creating so many of the world's problems? Can men change? Sure we all see individual men in our practices, and lives change and grow, but why do so many men who seek power act so unempathetic, so insensitive, with so little compassion? Why do so many men use violence, power, and control behavior? It's clear that many more men than women create these problems. Are men a tragically flawed group? An evolutionary "dead end"?
Join us in a presentation/discussion that attempts to answer those questions. By answering these questions, and finding solutions, all of us can be part of the solution.
Learning Objectives - After completion of the presentation the attendees will:
1. Attendees will have an understanding of why so many men create so many of the world's big problems.
2. Have an understanding of the solution to the problem of so many men having so little sensitivity, compassion, empathy, and ability to cooperate.
3. Have tools for how to work with boys and men to assist them in encouraging, developing a deeper relationship with their sensitivity, compassion, empathy and cooperation. These tools have application in many other therapeutic situations.
