I have been with Hope Petaluma since 2010.
I have 30+ years experience providing drug and alcohol abuse intervention, prevention, screening and counseling.
I served in the US Coast Guard on active duty for over 22 years and currently provide counseling and referral for the US Coast Guard Active Duty, Dependent and Civilian employees focusing on Domestic Violence, Child Abuse and Sexual Assault.
I completed a Masters of Arts degree in Psychology – (Marriage and Family Therapy Specialty) from Saybrook University, a Masters in Science degree in Quality Systems Improvement from the National Graduate School and Research Center and a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology, from Sonoma State University.
For over 30 years I have continuously volunteered as a youth mentor providing education, coaching and leadership with the Petaluma Unified School District, the Petaluma Boys and Girls Clubs, Petaluma Little League, Pop Warner Football and CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) Basketball. I have also been a Boyscouts of America trained scout leader and youth mentor/spiritual counselor with a local church.
My lifelong goal is to further my own professional development and personal exploration, with compassionate regard for all of humanity, through ongoing work, research, education, and contemplative, mindful spiritual practice.
