Jenny Werba is Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Marin, Ca. Jenny specializes in working with women and couples struggling through the familihood transition. She is passionate about supporting her clients through the unspoken struggles of fertility, grieving a loss, or the emotional rollercoaster of pregnancy and early parenthood. Many of her clients feel anxiety, depression, overwhelm, and grief and may have difficulty communicating their needs with their partners or support systems.
Jenny’s approach to therapy is integrative and client focused, while drawing heavily from Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Jenny believes strongly that therapy should be a place where clients feel seen and validated.
She believes in collaboration, creating a safe and warm atmosphere where clients can begin to embrace where they are on their journey to familihood without shame or judgment.
As a woman who faced her own fertility struggles and fought her way to parenthood, Jenny recognizes that this time in life can feel isolating and overwhelming. She believes strongly in empowering clients to develop a strong support system to help hold them through this part of their journey. Clients working with Jenny won’t just get an experienced therapist, they'll get someone who truly understands what they're going through.
