Walk starts at 10am, duration ~2 hours

Join us for a scenic and invigorating 2.8-mile loop trail walk in the Foothill Regional Park near Windsor, California. The loop we will be taking will start on the Foothill Loop and then continue on the Alta Vista trail which includes some steep hills.  This is a great opportunity to get some fresh air, exercise, and meet new people! 

This moderate-level route features thick oak woodlands, rolling hillsides, ridge-top views of northern Sonoma County, three ponds , grassy meadows, and spring wildflowers.

When and Where?
We will be meeting on Friday, March 10th, 2023, at 10 am at the gated parking and picnic area near Pond C, located at 1351 Arata Lane, Windsor, CA 95492. Link to Foothill Regional Park on Google Maps

This walk should take less than 2 hours.

Prepare
Please bring your own water and wear comfortable shoes. This route is challenging and may be muddy due to the recent rain storms. Elevation gain on this hike is 482 feet.
